Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Meaningful Change

HOW I CAN HELP

How I Can Help

I offer individual Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for adults experiencing a range of emotional, psychological and interpersonal difficulties.

My approach is relational and informed by attachment theory, which helps me guide my understanding of how early experiences and patterns of relating may influence your emotions, behaviours, thoughts, relationships and sense of self.

Together, we can explore the difficulties you are experiencing and work towards developing greater emotional awareness, more helpful ways of coping, and healthier relationships.

Areas I work with include:

Developmental trauma

Emotional regulation and distress tolerance

Interpersonal relationships and boundaries

Cognitive flexibility

Anxiety and stress

Depression and low mood

Self-esteem and confidence

HOW IT WORKS

How Getting Started Works

The first stages give us an opportunity to consider your needs and agree on a way forward.

01

Initial Conversation

Get in touch to discuss availability and the possibility of an introductory telephone conversation. We can discuss the details before you book.

02

Initial Assessment

The initial assessment is a longer appointment to discuss your difficulties and goals, and to consider whether working together would be suitable.
